The relaxed state of the NON routine has gently nudged me out of the mundane rhythm of life. There has been a transition to adventure, curiosity, and hopefully a bit of awe/wonder. A different pace with space for fun, laughter, connection, and contemplation.

Momentary thoughts of the return home seep in. Rental car returns, baggage checks, and the humming energy of an airport will wait for tomorrow. Today is still vacation.

The last day of vacation may be the best day of vacation. There is the joyful freedom of a holiday and the peaceful anticipation of returning HOME.
