A human, then and another, some make eye contact others avert. Glancing here, there, the ground below or some undefined point in the distance. With not too much intensity or focus, there is a smile for sure. I am safe, you are safe and I wish you well.
That could be enough warm to spark a small exchange of words, pleasantries maybe about the weather or some other benign subject. So different than the virtual kinds of interactions.
As humans, we need each other in order to thrive. If you can say “Good Morning”, you might be able to say “I am here if you need something” or “I need help”. Reciprocity is the glue of human kindness that we all need. Good Morning, Good Day, Good Evening, Good Life.
